How to Join
Joining your local credit union is as easy as 1,2,3 providing you
meet the following criteria.
- You live in or work within the common bond (radius of approx 10
miles from Clonakilty) of Muintir Clanna Caoilte Credit Union Ltd.
- You can provide one of the following to confirm your
identification (as required by the criminal justice act) to open the
account. Passport, Full Driving License or National Identification
Card with a photo attached.
- You can provide proof of your address within the common bond such
as, a recent utility bill eg, ESB, Gas, or Phone, recent bank
statement or other official document.
- You must provide evidence of your PPSN number, e.g. social
services card, pay slip.
Once you have provided the above there is an entrance fee of €1
(current fee) to become a member and then €10.00 (min) required to
activate and keep the account ‘live’. The account is required to be kept
‘live’ as failure to do so could result in the insurance (s) provided by
the credit union being declared null and void.
